I think this song has several levels. Obviously, losing a lover is the first level. But there is a philosophical level that is woven into the song. Wish I could hang out with this guy for a few hours.

Good music, however singer’s voice is too high pitched and kills the whole vibe. Makes is almost unbearable to listen to. One of the back-up singers appears to have good voice. Wanna make it out of local? Change singers…

The only time i saw ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL was back in 2001, when they played in a small town called Brooklyn, Ohio... right next to Cleveland. It was a cool little venue, a picnic with about 100 people in the audience. Ray was so fun to meet.
